So, yeah... I haven't updated in forever.  And I don't really intend to.  God bless.

Cheating a pyramid scheme is fun.  I'm getting $10 worth of coffee every month until I get a few people to sign up for their cheap stuff, and then I get a free iPod.  Sounds good, eh?  Well, give it a shot.  They've got tons of stuff... coffee, magazine subscriptions, etc.  If you don't have an iPod, this is the cheap way to go to get a free 30GB iPod.  Just go here:

Anyway, enough about that crap.  Life's good.  Classes are harder than last semester, but I'm holding my own, and I'll still hopefully pull this semester out with at least a 3.62.  I have a new girlfriend, Jessica Balle (pronounced bye-yay).  She's a half-Mexican, half-Irish girl from Boerne, Texas.  Yes, half-Mexican and half-Irish means NEVER piss her off, hehe.  But it also means that she speaks fluent Spanish, since her dad is a full-blooded Mexican; quite a perk for a Spanish enthusiast such as myself.  She's truly the most beautiful, intelligent, witty, and amazing girl I've ever met.  We've been dating for about a month and a half  now, and it's been nothing but sheer bliss.  I truly love this girl, and thank God daily for her continued presence in my life.

Not much else to say at this point, I'll just update sometime soon, also thinking about switching to LiveJournal, but who knows.  God bless you and keep you all.

P.S.  My great uncle, the one with liver cancer, died recently.  Please pray for those closest to him.

Finally, this first semester is over... I honestly think my entire family thought I wasn't gonna do very well, haha.  Apparently the honors program people told them that everyone was gonna fail out first semester or some crap.  Yeah, so I ended up with a 3.92.... damn lab.  Good enough for me, anyway, especially since I doubt I'll be taking it anywhere but down next semester.  As long as I can keep a 3.5, it's all good.  Off to the grandmother's tomorrow to get spoiled for the rest of the week, back to town Saturday, then Christmas .  Merry Christmas, everyone.  Don't forget why we celebrate it, and even if you don't believe in Santa, pretend for your little relatives (it's the spirit of Santa that counts anyway).  And, as Eric Idle sang in Life of Brian, "Always look on the bright side of life."  God bless.

Currently Listening
The Everglow
By Mae

- We're So Far Away
Can't stop listening to this song lately, for some reason.  Wish I could link it up to the xanga so everyone could hear it.

"We're So Far Away" - Mae

"Remembering, everything about my world and when you came. Wondering if the change
you’d bring means nothing else would be the same.

Did you know what you were doing? Did you know? Did you know how you would move
me? Well, I don’t really think so. But the night came down and swept us away. And the
stars, they seemed, to paint the most elaborate scene today.

How could we know? That song, this show. We'd learn so much about ourselves.
Toledo to Tokyo. The words were scribed on every page and now there’s books upon our shelves.

Did you know how you would move us? Did you know? When the lights first came first came upon
us and we saw the Everglow. And the moment's magic swept us away. And the young man's dream was almost seen so plain.

When was the night that showed us the sign? Revealed in the sky to leave all behind.
But where to begin? Throwing caution to the wind, we reached for the stars. Everything
was now ours.

Did you know how you would move me? Did you know? Did you know how you would
move me? Well, I don’t even think so. But the moment's magic swept us away. And it’s so close but we’re so far away. It’s so close but we’re so far away."

God bless.  Love you all.
